We are currently running a fleet of new Deere construction equipment.  80% of our fleet uses DEF.  I have been hearing horror stories regarding contaminated DEF ruining emissions control systems.  We are using 2 gallon jugs for the most part which seems to be pretty safe.  We do however also have one 50 or 60 gallon DEF transfer tank with 100% plastic parts specifically designed for buying bulk DEF which works out to about half the cost of buying the two gallon jugs from the parts store.  There is a risk to this though..  Transferring DEF is the easiest way to cross contaminate the fluid going into the machines emission system.

I am looking for any other options out there for handling DEF..  Any thoughts??
